A53 GR B Steel Pipes are manufactured as per ASTM A53 specification. This specification covers seamless and welded black and hot-dipped galvanized steel pipe in NPS 1⁄8 to NPS 26 [DN6 to DN 650]. 

There are three types pipes and following grades in this standard:

• Type F—Furnace-butt-welded, continuous welded, Grade A,
• Type E—Electric-resistance-welded, Grades A and B,
• Type S—Seamless, Grades A and B.

Here we are provide you A53 GR B Steel Pipes, which belongs to TYPE E, the electric resistance welded pipe.ERW pipes is furnished either nonexpanded or cold expanded at the option of the mill.A53 GR B steel pipes are usually used for mechanical and pressure applications and is also acceptable for ordinary uses in steam, water, gas, and air lines.

Other than GR B grade, there is GR A grade, which some customer will use GR A steel pipes as very ordinary uses for water pipe or ordinary structure. But for safety sake, GR B is suggested because A53 GR B steel pipes has better mechanical properties and chemical content. Grade GR.B pipes can resist more pressure or mechanical strength.
