What is Steel Pipe Schedule ?
Steel Pipe Size is decided by two elements: the first is a nominal carbon pipe size (NPS) for diameter based on inches or mm; the second is a schedule number for wall thickness. Carbon steel pipe schedule is specified in ANSI or ISO standard. The most common applied pipe schedule chart is in ASME B36.10M specification. In ASME B36.10, there you can find all pipe schedule for sch 40, sch 80, even sch 160 for all carbon pipes diameter from 1/8inch to 80inch welded and seamless steel pipe.
