To understand better HFW pipe, you should first know what is EW pipe.
EW pipe refers to tubular product having one longitudinal seam produced by low- or high-frequency electric-welding.
HFW pipe refers EW pipe produced with a welding current frequency equal to or greater than 70 kHz. (according to API 5L spec.)
HFW pipe is kind of welded pipe type, and HFW pipe tube has similar meaning of ERW Pipe. Our ERW pipes adopt this pipe manufacturing process.
